🐖 Fallout 3 New Vegas Ps3
Fallout new vegas is a great game but not on the ps3 trust me if you play it for 2-3 hours your frames are gonna go straight down to hell. Fabith09. • 2 yr. ago. Both New Vegas and 3 are "Playable" on the PS3, but the performance overall it's really bad: low textures quality, lazy loading textures, and awful frame rate.
Fallout 3 Freezes on Xbox360 1 times compare to 5 times on my PS3. And I never finished New Vegas on Xbox360, but on PS3 I got crash quite heavily, some places crashes 1 hour per, some like 5 hours. You can buy it if you want to get the platnium, both of the game are super easy to get as long as you follow a guide, especially Fallout 3.
nagacorn 11 years ago #3. Fully patched the 360 is a little more stable. The biggest issue the game currently has the game engine handles memory management very poorly; the PS3 has less memory available for the game than the 360, so it runs slightly worse and you'll more slow down and freezes (this also means a PC with gigantic amount of memory

It's a great game, but has serious technical issues (especially on consoles/ps3), and definitely shows it's age compared to fo4. But considering you should be able to get the ultimate edition for under $10, you don't really have anything to lose. That's a very good point about the price of the game.
On the one hand, there is always an issue with crashing and lag on PS3. On the other hand, I didn't notice it getting any worse when I got to the later portions of the game. Fallout 3 had it worse, tbh. But even there, I didn't notice any increase in the frequency of crashes, until I got to Broken Steel, the post-ending DLC.
It’s about the same size. If you thought Fallout 3 was big, you’ll find Fallout: New Vegas to be equally big. How much install data will be needed for Fallout: New Vegas? Fallout: New Vegas is a 5 GB install on PS3 that runs when you first launch the game. One of my favorite things to do in Fallout 3 was scavenging homes and office buildings.
I had this for PS3 near release date, and I sold it because the freezing and crashing was too much. That was before any patch.
